AMR Master

An AMR Master is a distinguished American Mahjong instructor certified to teach and officially rank players under the American Mahjong Ranking Authority (AMR) system.

AMR Facility

An AMR Facility is a designated venue that meets the standards set by the American Mahjong Ranking Authority to ensure:

  • Instruction by an AMR Master

  • Fair & standardized game play

  • Adherence to NMJL rules

  • Secure & professional environment

AMR Matches

  • 4 players

  • 4 hands per match

  • Score = value of winning lines

  • NMJL Rules followed

  • AMR Tournament hands plus 10

  • No joker hands plus 10 

  • AMR Master enters score
